COM-SCN

Presentation

COM-SCN is an "optical character recognition" (OCR) application, handwriting recognition, barcode reading, barcode generation, business card generation, card event and gift cards generation.

This application is mainly intended to read contact details from business cards, which can then be exported as vCard files which can be imported into different applications like "MS Outlook ©" or COM-CRM ou COM-CRM Pro.

COM-SCN can also be used to do OCR on any image containing text.

COM-SCN is able to read "QR Code" but also all the following types of barcodes: Aztec, Codabar, Code 39, Code 93, Code 128, Data Matrix, EAN-8, EAN-13, ITF, PDF-417, RSS-14 (all variants), UPC-A and UPC-E.

COM-SCN can generate Aztec, Data Matrix, PDF-417 and "QR Code" barcode from vCard file or from simple text.

COM-SCN is compatible in reading and writing with QR-Code barcodes from Android © applications (such as "Samsung Contacts ©").
